Sleep
soundly and entertain or just lounge about
As well as what you see, breakfast is provided for and you can eat at any hour, park your car off the street, and arise when it suits you. We supply all the Bacon, sausages, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes, orange juice, bread, milk and butter for the cottage guests to prepare their own breakfast. Your hosts, Chris and Cheryl are on hand in the main house to attend to any extra requirements. The township of Hamilton is one of Tasmania's earliest settled farming areas, and local walks will reveal the past to you in the form of both modest and elaborate early architecture, influenced by convict labour. Nearby towns of Bothwell, the home of the oldest golf course in Australia, and Fentonbury/National Park provide day trips with Waterfalls, Rainforest and Industrial History. Further afield at Strathgordon and Lake Pedder, trout fishing abounds, and there is much local knowledge that can help you enjoy fishing as a pastime if that's your passion. |
