Platter Pies

We have been told that our pies are the best in Tasmania, some say Australia! Maybe, maybe not, there is only one way to find out, come and try one and tell us what you think.

Our pies are made on the premises with real meat and fresh products. The pie meat is trimmed of all fat, and is chopped into chunks. The pies are gravy based, and made with delicious puff pastry.

Fresh bread is made on the premises daily, and most of our product is home made. Our food is safe, fresh, and delicious.

If you are after a cappuccino, premium coffee beans are ground fresh for each cup. Decaf and soy are available and our milkshakes are divine.

We are often asked for a platypus pie. Sorry, they are too hard to catch….

If you are on your way to or from Strahan, call in and say g’day. Better still come and stay the night. Our colonial style rooms suit the budget conscious and the travel weary.
